Flying on the Taxpayers Dime

posted in Obama, Socialism, Taxes, economy |

All animals are equal.

Some lawmakers lashed out at the CEO’s of the auto companies for flying private jets to Washington requesting taxpayer bailout money. Banks who took TARP were also excoriated.

“This time CEO’s won’t be able to use taxpayer money to pad their paychecks or buy fancy drapes or disappear on a private jet. Those days are over,” said the President.

Okay, but Obama makes it seem that either a) all money CEO’s make is taxpayer money, or b) all CEO’s are bad because they take private jets.

I’m not rich. I’m not a socialist. I want to be rich. If I’m socialist, I’ll never get there. Being a Capitalist does not mean you take money from the poor to make yourself rich. If you’ve not been indoctrinated by a public school, you may have the brain capacity to reason out why.

I’ve already described all of the jobs involved in keeping one jet in service. Why deny workers work?

No news time is given to Nancy Pelosi’s chauffeur, The US Air Force. Judicial Watch used the Freedom of Information Act to uncover this one. Since the original premise is about using taxpayer money being used, why are we not asking Nancy Palosi any questions? Is it because:

All animal are equal, but some are more equal than others?
