Class envy is a tool used by Marxist, Communist and Socialist to pit the middle class and the rich against each other. When the rabble get enough, they ask the politicians to do something. The rich are taxes or have there wealth confiscated so that the leaders can “spread the wealth around”, when in reality it is kept in government coffers and only brings the wealthy down to the level of the workers. This leaves the government as the only employer, keeps wages down, and reduces productivity.
