The phone lines in Washington were on fire last Friday, and the politicians didn’t give a flying fuck about what we thought. They passed Crap and Trade anyway.

It’s a mistake to believe Congress believes CO2 is a danger to this planet. Crap and Trade and Healthcare are nothing more than government controlling your lives. You can say goodbye to your freedoms.

The EPA was asked to suppress a report before voting on Crap and Trade in the house, “…global temperatures are roughly where they were in the mid-20th century. They’re not going up, and if anything they’re going down.” This report was broke by CBS after the House vote, kind of like saying “Ha, you stupid morons, in your face”.

An MIT News article actually came out eight months ago, but with mainstream media busy selling crap and trade to us they didn’t have time to cover anything actually factual regarding global temperatures. MIT researchers have found still more evidence of natural causes for climate change and for natural planetary regulation of planetary temperature.

“Crap and Trade” sets an arbitrary limit on CO2 emissions to a level known to be less than is required by business. Then an arbitrary price is set for excess CO2 emissions. A business must either reduce its operations, or pay the government mandated extra costs. You can consider any government mandated cost a tax. And businesses don’t pay taxes, they include them in the cost of their business, because if they didn’t, they would go out of business (or become government controlled).

This bill can be likened to a watermelon. The Watermelon bill; it’s green on the outside, but Marxist Pinko inside. They pushed the excrement sandwich down our throats. This is their way of telling us what we can do with our tea parties.

I know I know there has been controversy about the promotion of democracy in recent years, and much of this controversy is connected to the war in Iraq. So let me be clear: No system of government can or should be imposed by one nation by any other.

Hasn’t it been our policy for years to stop Socialism/Communism. Democracies and Republics do not war each other. Oh, that’s right. O embraces Socialism/Communism now. An imposition? Do you believe the people of oppressed nations like being oppressed?

And let’s talk Iraq. The Dems voted for war with Iraq. Don’t rewrite history O. The Dems got the same info Bush did.

That does not lessen my commitment, however, to governments that reflect the will of the people. Each nation gives life to this principle in its own way, grounded in the traditions of its own people. America does not presume to know what is best for everyone, just as we would not presume to pick the outcome of a peaceful election.

We know that Socialism/Communism doesn’t work. No Socialist/Communist country has ever had a great economy. Russia and China tell us this, but O doesn’t listen. Example: The USSR. Well O isn’t listening, he wants the USSA.

Pick the outcome of a peaceful election? When have we ever done that? And do you call stealing an election an election? Iran’s election was stolen. Not that you care. So was ours. That’s why you sit and watch the peaceful rallies as civilians get shot down. Could be you hope it ends soon, because American citizens see the future.

But I do have an unyielding belief that all people yearn for certain things: the ability to speak your mind and have a say in how you are governed;

confidence in the rule of law and the equal administration of justice;

government that is transparent and doesn’t steal from the people;

the freedom to live as you choose.

And again, BULLSHIT!

These are not just American ideas; they are human rights. And that is why we will support them everywhere.

When? I doubt it.

Now, there is no straight line to realize this promise. But this much is clear: Governments that protect these rights are ultimately more stable, successful and secure.

Right, your protecting our rights? It’s ok to take away our rights if your a Liberal, but if your a Progressive Conservative, it’s a crime. Talk out of both sides of your mouth, why don’t you!

Suppressing ideas never succeeds in making them go away.

You don’t believe that! The Fairness Doctrine? Localism?

America respects the right of all peaceful and law-abiding voices to be heard around the world, even if we disagree with them. And we will welcome all elected, peaceful governments provided they govern with respect for all their people.

BULLCRAP! Especially if you disagree with them in your own country.

This last point is important because there are some who advocate for democracy only when they’re out of power; once in power, they are ruthless in suppressing the rights of others.

Look at yourself, hypocrite.

So no matter where it takes hold, government of the people and by the people sets a single standard for all who would hold power:

You speak from the Constitution so well, but because you know most sheeple have not, will not, and have not been taught the Constitution, you can sound good using it and bastardizing it.

You must maintain your power through consent, not coercion;

you must respect the rights of minorities,

But it’s ok to force that excrement sandwich down the majorities throats, you piece of shit.

Where’s the tolerance and compromise?

you must place the interests of your people and the legitimate workings of the political process above your party.

Again, when?

Without these ingredients, elections alone do not make true democracy.

I guess we know now.

The press now includes, but is not restricted to, news papers, books, television, movies, and the internet. But when most people think of the press they think news.

Freedom of the press is a mechanism in the Constitution to keep an eye on government because a government controlled press doesn’t serve its citizens, it only tells the people what the government wants them to hear. So isn’t a press that is in bed with government doing the same thing? WTF! Remember when the press was critical of President Bush? They were doing their job then. You only see one network giving any shit to the Bamster.

Shit about the government, written or spoken, was subject to punishment under English law. Fuck the truth; you were jailed or worse if you trash talked the rulers. The press belonged to the King.

James Madison’s concern was that authors wouldn’t write truth about government activities if the government could prosecute them afterwards. So when the Colonies threw off monarchy, the press adopted a role as partner the for truth, a free marketplace for ideas and opinions, without government control. This is the type of press our founding fathers wrote into the Constitution.

Freedom of the press applies to a single person’s right to publish ideas, and to the right of print and broadcast media to express political views and to cover and publish news. A free press is one of the foundations of a democratic society. You can see it’s importance; when antidemocratic forces take over a country, it’s first action, control the press. Look at Iran.

Newspapers are losing readership and will be in need of a bailout, because “the public needs to know the news”. Like the car companies and the banks, they will be government owned. Think News Czar.

NBC is owned by General Electric. GE is cozy with the Obama administration, with health care, smart grid, electric generators, and television already reaping their portion of TARP funds. Google it, Rose. GE could be to big to fail. I for one will not buy GE or watch MFNBC. You read right, MF-NBC because NBC is mother fuckin’.

ABC has been getting pretty close too, with the health care town hall in the Whitehouse next week. Obama jokes about being in bed with Brian Williams. Well, it’s no joke. The media has a love afair with Obama. That’s not the reason ‘freedom of the press’ is in the Constitution. The free press, while not controlled by the govermnent, is no longer the watchdog, but the lapdog of the Obama Administration, and that lapdog is humping the Bamsters leg.

It is so easy to bring out a Commie lib. Tell the truth and don’t cite your source. They think they got you. I don’t cite my sources most of the time, because a typical Commie lib will tell you your source is suspect. Plus, I don’t trust any source anyway. Anything published can be bullshit.

When that doesn’t work for the left, they find a flaw. Only one and the rest of the story is void. What’s that flaw? I called the mayor of Sacramento a friend of Os.
