From my point of view .. the outdated ' unions ' of the 50's and 60's are equally responsible with the bullshit politicians on this one !! These automaton drones think they are worth 30 - 35 dollars an hour simply because the industry is what it is ... Well , the bottom fell out and they're all losin' !!! ... The Japs and Koreans get paid half as much and produce better cars !! ... Unfortunately , the politicians have avenues to cover their asses ... B.O. ( other than being a Chicago senator on the opposite side of the governing party of the time ... ) had squat to do with the situation ... Although I'm sure he was well aware of it ... I agree that the CEO's should suffer the same brunt of the circumstances that the CAW is dealing with ... If I was in charge ...They'd ALL be in the same boat ... up the same creek ... and nary a paddle to be found ! ... Here in Canada , the auto industry is such a large part of our economy , my Prime Minister is going along with this crap ...yet the ' Merican 'economy is 10 times more involved !!! ... ... It should have been put into the proper perspective DECADES ago !!! ... As we're ALL paying for it now !!!! ... This concludes my rant for the evening ...Y'all have a good day !! ...
