Know Your Rights!

The Constitution is under attack. It is in Mr. Obama’s way. One by one he is stealthily eroding them away. “We the people” are asleep and letting this happen under our very noses. You that have been mesmerized, can’t see beyond your noses. I’ve been trying to slap you in the face and get you to wake up, because your taking all of us off the cliff with you. If you don’t know about the Constitution, it’s because they don’t teach it in school anymore. Liberals think it archaic.

The government, for years, has been allowing the indoctrination of your children. ‘Yeah, Foxwood, where is your proof.’ It’s right in front of you! We continually pay taxes and have a set amount of it go to the school system. Continually, lawmakers request more money to resolve the failing school system. Continually, the school system produces more and more dropouts, and/or passes students that should not be passed.

It’s easy to indoctrinate young minds. It’s easy to indoctrinate when there is no education. If you haven’t been indoctrinated, ask your high school student about the Bill of Rights. Can they name them. Do you know what your rights are or what the government is bound by the Constitution to do? You need to read your rights, because your rights are being stomped on just as Bill Ayers stomped on the American flag.

I’m telling you, if one right is removed or changed, they all can be removed or changed. The Amendments listed below are of significance right now:

* First Amendment – Establishment Clause, Free Exercise Clause;
freedom of speech, of the press, Freedom of Religion, and of assembly; right to petition,

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The Fairness Doctrine was to take conservative talk radio off the air. In a more subtle way so that the ‘Supreme Leader’ will not have his hand in it, Localism will be the back door to bring fairness about.

The Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act looks as if it will be the back door to shut down the internet also. The intention of the bill was to stop cyberbullying, a good thing, but it looks as if it will include speaking out against political opposition as well.

Senator McCain has already seen to it that political speech is removed two months before elections.

* Second Amendment – Militia, Sovereign state, Law of Arms.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The claim is that this amendment only pertains to militia, but look at the words ‘the right of the people’. Doesn’t matter though, because the ‘Big Giant Head’ will allow the U.N. to be empowered to regulate the Second Amendment right to own a firearm.

The Judicial nominees Obama has in mind, not to mention present standing judges, are looking to international law to make judgments. I thought their guideline was supposed to be the Constitution.

* Ninth Amendment – Protection of rights not specifically enumerated in the Bill of Rights.

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

It provides that the naming of certain rights in the Constitution does not take away from the people rights that are not named, such as the right to travel, privacy, autonomy, dignity. This is where the right to an abortion came from. The U.S. Supreme Court at the time didn’t consider the Fifth Amendment when finding this right, where no person shall ‘be deprived LIFE, liberty, or property”

The Tenth Amendment may have the answer to bringing the Constitution back to the intent of the founding fathers.

* Tenth Amendment – Powers of States and people.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

This means that the federal government has only those powers specifically granted by the Constitution.

Read and re-read the Tenth Amendment. Where is our government now? Compare it to the days of our founding fathers. I hear you say, “Foxwood, today is much different than the days of our founding fathers”.

The founding fathers were for less government. Our last 20 administrations, including the ‘Great Oz’, were/is for more government. Ok, the times are different because we expect the government to take care of us and will not take responsibility for ourselves. We don’t need more government, we need to learn responsibility. If the government takes care of us, we have no rights.

    hey foxy, know anything about the 3rd amendment? In times of peace, you can deny lodging to a soldier. So since we are at war, does this mean if a soldier wants to stay in your home, you are obligated to allow them to? just wondering if I am interpreting that right. I asked lisa once what she would do if she came home and found a soldier in her bed drinking beer and eating potato chips, but I don’t remember if I got a straight answer. lol.

    I don’t think you stated it that way last time. many things would have to be determined in a situation like that. In the best case scenario, he’d have to show PROOF he was a US soldier first and once confirmed by his commanding officer, he’d be welcomed to stay in our home and I’d gladly open my home to him/them. (I seriously doubt, it would ONLY be one single soldier, more like a patrol)
    I think that amendment was talking about a WAR on our soil as was in that time frame. As such, it would depend on “what side” the soldier was on I guess and his ‘intentions’.

    I’m glad you asked Morb (hey, I thought you were from the UK or something? never mind me). What I’ve done is called my state Senator and Representative to get a new state law started.

    Texas, Tennessee, Utah and Montana have started laws that suggest that guns and ammo made in th state and stay in the state are under no federal control. It’s looks like a 2nd Amendment right law, but in fact it pushes the 10th Amendment. Any law that is not controlled by the Fed is controlled by the state or the people. It affects interstate commerce. Since the guns and ammo are not being used in another state, the feds have no jurisdiction.

    What has to happen is at least 20 or more states do the same and come up against the Supreme Court. Since it’s about gun control, it will be fast tracked.

    Great post, so many things to discuss. Yes the indoctrination of public school on our children is unbelieveable. For years we have sent our children to private Christian school.For different reasons, this year our youngest is going to first grade in public, 7th grader Christian school, 10th grader I’m homeschooling.I say all that to say that our youngest was made to color a picture of BHO, hello.Then was instructed to participate in a fashion show contest determination of which of his kids was the best dressed? REALLY HELLO. Ticked me off.We have to homeschool or send to private school here or be indoctrinated. I guess it is not enough they get my money.Anyway, BHO is trying his best to indcotrinate all of America that is not totally disgusted, as am I. Have you noticed? His stinking voice is on commercials on TV ALL THE TIME! and Radio too. He is such a CREEP! and Diabolical freak.
