The Japanese have beaten us at the car game !! ... But then , look at the millions of people that would be out of highly over paid jobs !!! That would be catastrophic to the economy ,as the big three feeds so many other businesses , and especially when the banks blew it as well !! ... You obviously don't count on a job at GM or Chrysler ... I'll bet those who do are rather ecstatic about the ' bailout '( again , a term that applies to helping someone that has screwed up ! ) ... The financial sector and the car industry did this to themselves with the very core principles that you speak of in the Constitution ... W1G , I see no reason to insult Derek , he was merely trying to explain to you that the Marx / Engels ( Germans )concept of Communism was completely bastardized by Lenin and Stalin. Then turning ever further in a different direction with the succeeding leaders of the old Soviet Union. It is only recently that it is breaking down and making efforts to become more democratic. Their original idea has much merit to it and in a sense , that is what O'bummer is doing ... EVERYONE is chipping in to right the failures of SEVERAL generations.
