Capitalism vs Socialism

I admit I am a little biased. I was born in a day where you respected God and Country. The “red scare” was real. It’s so different today. They teach children in school that there is no such thing as God and it’s okay to embrace Socialism. The founding fathers were bad, so only an abridged version of American History is given. It’s an indoctrination in the public schools and college. Let’s take a look at some of the differences between Capitalism and Socialism.

In Capitalism, the government works for you. In Socialism, the government controls you.

In Capitalism, you can start a business, own a business, negotiate your wages, study hard and get a high paying job. In Socialism, all wages are capped. The government owns the business. You work for the government. There is no incentive to be any better. Quality and quantity are limited by your lack of incentive. The economy stagnates.

In Capitalism, medicine is advanced, new methods are available. There is no waiting. Access is available to all. Under Socialism, because the doctors are underpaid, they have no incentive. Healthcare is available to all, but not accessible to all. There is no money to research advanced medicine or methods. Waiting periods for major conditions are long.

Under Capitalism, you can own property, a home or homes. In Socialism, the government owns all property, you work for the government and pay rent to live in a residence.

Capitalism assumes you can take care of yourself and will do what is best for you and your family. Socialism assumes you are unable to choose or provide for your own well-being, existence and future, so it is left to the State.

In Capitalism, you are your own person, your free to mold your life, have freedom to own property. In Socialism, your a subject of the state, you are restricted with little freedoms.

I know the Socialist will say, Capitalism is corrupt and all the money is controlled by the Capitalist. Well, there is corruption in all economic systems, and needs to be eradicated. But every Socialist Government has been corrupt. All money in a Socialist system is controlled by government. The Socialist will say that the rich take the money from the middle class and poor. Not true. That is the selling point of Socialism. When the economy grows in a Capitalistic system, all productive members wages grow also. There is no economic growth in Socialism.

Don’t talk my word for it. Google it.

hey foxwood, re: “They teach children in school that there is no such thing as God”
Have you got proof? I stopped at this statement because I figured if you are just posting diatribe that you can’t back up, it isn’t worth my time. But I will give you a chance to back this claim up and if you do, I will be happy to read the rest. Otherwise, I hope you have a very green day! love, rosehips.

    Morning dear…

The socialists have invested billions in making “Capitalism” a dirty word… this is refelcted in two Rasmussen Report polls where only 53% favored Capitalism over Socialist Controlled Economy yet 77% Favored a Free-Trade Market.

The irony is Capitalism = Free-Trade Market

I don’t think schools are teaching that there is no God… but it is true that Socialists are writing school text books and rewriting them to show socialism in a good light and capitalism and the Christian religion in a less than favorable way.

The teaching of Socialism and the socialist mindset is more and more infused into collage age kids by Socialist and even Marxist Professors and textbook writers.

The Colombia School of Journalism cranks out Socialists into the Media business like stamped out cookies.

    Rose,

I can give no proof. Only anecdotal evidence from my children’s school (15 years ago) where I make the assumption that all schools are doing it. And I know about the work assume. Ass/u/me. Tho I’m not Catholic, my children finish up school in Catholic school. When one gets hit with the situation, one can make the assumption other schools do the same.

First off … do you ‘ Mericans spell ‘ collEge ‘ with an ‘ a ‘ instead of the first ‘ e’ ..or is it just a repeating typo ?…

Secondly , are you ‘ theist ‘ ? Why are your kids in Catholic school ? …

Damn! 1) I don’t need to defend myself, but if you don’t like the spelling, DON’T read it!

    2) I was baptized Methodist! And what if I was ATHEIST? I was starting to like you Morb, but your getting on my patience.

Third, where did you see that typo on this page?

Fourth, what do you have against Mexicans and Catholics and/or Atheists?

Ok… I had to reread that and I blew it way out of proportion. No I’m not atheist, collage is spelled with an a, you meant American (after I looked at it again). I apologize.

    Rose,

Just saw one example tonight on Fox (your favorite) on the Bill Orilley show where God is being called nonsense.
