One more thing. Only 1 of these 9 teachers went to college for Education degree, b/c she was “passionate” about “teaching”… the other 8 went for other under-graduate degrees and then decided working for a living was too tough and they’d rather ‘put up with kids’ to get the benefits of public school teaching job. One girl even told me she “tries not to give her kids science homework so she has less work to do”.

I’m not trying to rip on those who are passionate about kids and education.
But as you can see, there’s probably only 2 in 10 teachers who are actually there to help children succeed.

also Foxwood, this might be classified as a harsh judgement. But I know about 9 teachers (in the PUBLIC school system), and they are all Democrats who fall into the Cult of Obama Personality – “he can do no wrong” mentality. I tend to see “liberals” in these government positions because it’s easier in some cases than working in the corporate world. Maybe not easier, but guaranteed pay increases/tenure, afternoons off… summers, breaks, pensions, perks, 0 for healthcare.

This is part of the problem. Conservatives by nature are almost business oriented, free market, entrepreneurs. Liberals seek out Public jobs that are generally uh, easy, bloated, redundant and bureaucratic. And so we get Liberals in Public school indoctrinating children.

History Channel is also light on real judging details of our past. I noticed that this morning when they glossed over Carter like a footnote not actually attributing inflation and interest rates to HIS policies.

This is true, American children are not taught basics of OUR history. They are not taught ‘business/finance/math’ basics (or how they correlate to real life situations), in order to keep the populace ‘in the dark’ and beholden to help from an outside source. Like “government”… and not the alternative of “doing something for yourself, making yourself”.

I took A.P. US Government in High School. I was lucky to have a teacher who, I can say, was probably a Conservative. It was a private, parochial school.. and that is why I learned the things I did.

I was shocked to see my HS friends come out as Obamists, and Democrats this last campaign season, -but then remembered they were/had to have been indoctrinated in their Liberal Arts colleges. That, and the media blitz that falsifies Liberalism as something it is not. And voila, you have a Democrat constituency willing to lay down their God-given freedoms and rights to an omnipotent central power.
